Elaine Campana, 83, of Aliquippa, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, March 9, 2024 surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on May 7, 1940 in Sewickley PA a daughter of the late Joseph and Stephanie (Lent) Krehnovi. Elaine was a member of Mary, Queen of Saints Parish-St. Titus Catholic Church where she was also a member of the Holy Name Society, Womans Guild and the Confraternity of Christian Mothers. She was proud to be a past May Queen of the Confraternity as she had a strong devotion to The Blessed Mother. She was also a member of Silver Sneakers in Aliquippa.
Elaine spent her life thinking and caring for others in her family and community. She found joy in simple gestures of kindness and gratitude. So many have been touched by the thoughtfulness of her handwritten correspondences and thank you notes. She was an avid baker and had a special talent for decorating beautiful cakes for friends and family. Elaine also cared for others through prayer and spent much of her life practicing to her strong faith.
She is survived by her loving husband, Anthony Campana; daughter, Maria (Tim) Brown of Wellesley, MA ; two grandchildren, Stephen and Abby Brown; brother, Richard (Bernadette) Krehnovi of Mansfield, OH. She is also survived by six beloved nieces and nephews as well as several cherished God children.
Her family would like to thank her loving staff at Life Beaver for their care and support allowing her to enjoy the last five years living in her home and community.
Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2pm to 5pm in Darroch Cremation and Funeral Tributes, Inc., 2640 Mill Street, Aliquippa www.darrochfuneralhome.com where prayers will be offered on Thursday at 9:30am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Titus Catholic Church.
Entombment will follow in Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery.
